Pilot privacy notice
Your shipment data should have a clear purpose.
This notice describes the current LaneSpark pilot. It must be reviewed and completed with the operating freight company’s legal identity and contact details before a public commercial launch.
What is collected
Your account email, business profile, direct-shipper eligibility information, shipment details you choose to save, consent choices, help requests, and security and usage records. The public shipment check does not create a saved shipment. No real rates, bookings, or payment records are created in this prelaunch version.
Why it is used
To validate shipment details, review eligibility, respond to shipment-help requests, prevent duplicate requests and misuse, and operate your private workspace. Saving a shipment alone does not request contact or subscribe you to marketing.
Where it is processed
Vercel hosts the website and processes requests. Supabase provides account authentication and the database, hosted in the US East region. Authorized LaneSpark operators can review business profiles and shipment-help requests. Hosting providers may retain technical logs under their own policies.
What is deliberately limited
The pilot does not intentionally retain entire AI conversations. It stores the structured fields explicitly submitted to its tools. Do not submit payment credentials, Social Security numbers, health information, or unrelated personal information.
AI assistants
If you use LaneSpark through a third-party AI assistant, that service’s privacy terms also apply. Review the shipment details shown here before requesting contact or a confirmed quote.
Contact and marketing consent
Permission to contact you about a specific shipment is required before a help request is created. General marketing updates are separate, optional, and unchecked by default.
Access and retention
Signed-in users can download their account, shipment, request, and usage data from the account page. Records currently remain until removed by an authorized operator. A published retention schedule, deletion-request process, and monitored privacy contact must be completed before public registration opens.
No cross-customer rate pooling
A customer’s shipment information is not used as another customer’s private pricing dataset. Any future external rate data must be used under the applicable provider and customer agreements.
